Guest information

The practical side ofstaying here

A few details that answer the questions guests usually ask before they arrive, written out properly so that nothing has to be guessed at.

Witów · Podhale · Polish Tatras

Arrival and parking

Free private parking is available on site, in the village itself, so there is no searching for a space after a long drive. The address is Witów 78, and guests are met personally rather than through a locked box at the door, which also makes it easy to ask questions about the house before settling in.

The shared kitchen

A shared guest kitchen serves the whole residence and is the natural centre of the house in the morning. It is set up for real use: preparing breakfast, making coffee and tea, warming something after a late return from the mountains and storing what you bring back from the local shops.

Garden, seating and grill

Outside, a garden with seating and grilling facilities gives the warmer months their own routine. Guests tend to gather there in the evening, when the temperature drops and the mountains around the valley take on their last colour of the day.

Comfort through the year

Every room is heated, every room has a private bathroom with a hot shower, and free Wi-Fi reaches throughout the house. Bedding is warm, the interiors are cleaned with care, and the whole place is kept in the practical, unfussy way that mountain houses need in order to work well in every season.

Before you travel

Coming by car, and what to pack

Travelling by car makes the most sense in this part of Podhale, and the parking on site removes the usual difficulty of leaving a vehicle somewhere in the mountains. Winter tyres are sensible from late autumn onward, because the road into the village can carry snow long after the main roads are clear.

Pack for the mountains rather than for the forecast: proper walking shoes, a warm layer even in summer, swimwear for the thermal baths, and something comfortable for the evenings, when most guests do very little on purpose. Everything else is easy to buy in the village or in Zakopane.
